When you create an account, we collect your email address and name for authentication purposes.
When you scan a QR or barcode, the scanned content, type, and timestamp are saved to your scan history so you can revisit them later. You can disable this at any time by enabling Privacy Mode in Settings, which makes all scans ephemeral and prevents them from being stored.
When you create a QR code, its content and styling preferences are saved so you can reload or manage your generated codes.
Your camera feed is processed in real-time on your device to detect codes. It is never recorded, transmitted, or stored.
QR code generation happens entirely on your device. No data is sent to a server during generation.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see, store, or have access to your card details. We only retain your email and subscription status for billing purposes.
Your data is stored in a secure cloud database with row-level security, meaning your scans, settings, and generated codes are only accessible to you. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Your scan history and generated QR codes persist until you delete them. You can delete individual records or use "Clear All" to remove everything at once.
If Privacy Mode is enabled, scans are not stored at all — they are processed and immediately discarded.
QRize requests camera access only when you use the Scanner. This permission is managed by your device's operating system, and you can revoke it at any time in your device settings without affecting other app features.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
